Hi, thought i'd introduce myself on here..my names daz, been into rods and kustoms forever,yet don't own one, love my rockabilly, you'll see me at most car shows and gigs with my camera. anyhoo..thats about all i can think of for now...don't be shy...come and say hi!..Daz

I just found this forum today and I feel like I'm home! I live in Darwin where there is a thriving rockabilly scene *tumble weed rolls by, a lonely cricket chirps*...hmm actually there isn't.
I've always loved pin-ups and bomber nose art for as long as I can remember (something about the stockings I think, hmmmm).....anyway, I spend my spare time working on my '55 Morris Minor trying to keep it as original as possible, which is probably the antithesis of rockabilly. But, hey, it's my every day drive so it has to be practical. It's still a cool car in a weird curvy, British kind of way.
When I manage to get the grease out from under my finger nails, I play baritone sax in a swing big band. I'd love to get myself 'Down South' to check out some of these car shows and gigs, but you guys are so far away! Hope to get to know you all over time.

Hi folks! I'm Bobbi, I'm a graphic designer, working at the RTA in Brisbane. I'm not cool and I don't even have a car (I hope that's okay ) because no one bought me one and saving isn't an option, but I like to look at yours! Like anyone, I love (pre 1990s) music, epecially 60s jukebox hits, my tastes are very old fashioned because I was raised by my old fashioned daddy.

I rarely get out and when I do I'm far too shy to talk to strangers, so if you see me say hi and I'll try not to make it too awkward for you, haha.

I don't know anyone anywhere except my boyfriend, so I joined this forum with hope that I might chat with some "like-minded people"!

I've got a 50 Pontiac sedan (pretty much the same as yours) and 2/3 of a 51 sedan as a parts car. I'll be interested to see how yours turns out. Any ideas on what it will end up looking like (rat/mild kustom/ full kustom/chopped?) I may be chasing you for some parts though myself! Let me know if theres any parts you're chasing and we may be able to organise a swap...!

P.S. Did anyone get to the Perth Tattoo Carnivaal? My man and i missed it, very sad, heard it was a ball. Especially wanted to see Carnies with Candy again, as we fell inlove with them at the Railway a few weekends ago!

Hi my name is Daisy (real name). I'm 23 from Brisneyland and like tattoo's, music, cars and the roaring 40's - 50's.

My hobbies are fire twirling and drawing.

I have 2 english staffy's, one female named Honey and one male named RB.
I have a full time job and i study part time at Uni. And I want to be a pin-up girl!

My favourite movie since I was a child is "Grease", my house is full of 40's/50's stuff and I have "fan" pics of Monroe and Page around the place with some old pin-up drawings thrown in, also my family believes I should have been born in the 40's due to my love of seamed stockings, red heels, red lips and victory rolls! I guess I was a born rockabilly!
