Wintersun Festival
ABOUT 30,000 people will rock Port Macquarie with their big hair, bobby socks and classic cars for the Wintersun Festival from June 3 to 13.
The festival features more than 80 live bands and entertainers, swing balls and dance competitions, vintage fashion parades, classic cars and an Elvis competition. There are free events or ticketed shows for $20.
Pretty Things Peep Show
Showstopper events include the exciting Pretty Things Peep Show out of New York, Australia’s music legend Col Joye, 45 years in showbiz with Normie Rowe, Jerry Shilling talking of his time with Elvis Presley, The Delltones, and international rockabilly acts Marti Brom and John Lewis.

Venues include The Glasshouse Entertainment Centre, Port Panthers, a local sports stadium, school and community clubs, plus four days of free entertainment in Westport Park.

I think that line about warm winter climate can come out now. Coldest Wintersun ever and very wet. The first days were great and the music was absolutely fantastic. All in all another great festival.
Organisers - please think about signage. We took half an hour to find St Pauls School and I still haven't found stage 10.
