Some of Australia’s top country, bluegrass and rockabilly artists will perform under the “Big Top” at Kingston’s spectacular 2011 Harvest Festival on Saturday 14 May from 11am to 11pm in Carrum.
The fantastic Harvest lineup includes Australian rock legend Jon Stevens, country music sensation Catherine Britt, along with blues icons, Louis King and the Liars Klub, Luke O’Shea, Sonia Eyles, The Distance, Tommy and the Lucky Strikes, Chris Russell’s Chicken Walk, The Borderers, The Ploughboys and Quarry Mountain Dead Rats.

The Harvest Festival, now in its fifth year, is a great day out for the family. In addition to non-stop music, there will also be fresh food demonstrations by chefs in the Harvest Kitchen, as well as an appetising array of food and a licensed bar with wine and boutique beers, and plenty of carnival rides for the kids.
Previous Harvest Festivals have been a huge success attracting large crowds of more than 10,000 people, and we are expecting big numbers again this year.
The festival will be held on Saturday 14 May, from 11.00am to 11.00pm at Roy Dore Reserve, Carrum (Mel ref 97 F8), entry from Graham Road.
The Harvest Festival is a free event, with a $2 donation required to enter the Country and Blues music tent. Alcohol is not permitted to be bought into the event, or consumed outside of the main tent. Dogs are permitted outside the tent only and must be on a leash.
For more information about the Harvest Festival visit www.kingston.vic.gov.au/harvest or call Council on 1300 653 356.
