Ringo rejoined the group in Melbourne which they did 3 shows in Melbourne @ the Festival Hall on June 15th,16th and 17th and the june 17th show was filmed for the TV special the Beatles Sings for Shell which was broadcast on Channel 9 on July 1st 1964. they played 3 shows in sydney from june 18th-20th at the sydney and among them the people who met the beatles @ the Shearton hotel were Jenny Kee and singer Billy THorpe whose band the Aztecs had the number 1 record in australia at that very time with Poison Ivy. from june 22-27 the beatles played in New Zealand which they played in wellington, auckland, dunedin and christchurch and came back to australia to play the last 2 shows which was in brisbane at the festival Hall.
