Hey hewey, love the wagon. Leave the stockies on it with the whitewalls, just dump it over em. Will look sweet!

Re: XY Wagon and a coupla bikes
Pete, the XY has a 250 crossflow from an XF, so alloy head version, with the 2 barrel Weber on it. Has been fully rebuilt, small cam in it, head work done, extractors etc. and built so she'll be suitable for an LPG conversion down the track too. Word is these crossflows go okay with some light work, so Im hoping it'll be a nice cruiser, havent driven it with the new engine yet though. She's only a cruiser so performance isnt the aim, like Im keeping the bench seat and column shift
Well ive got 2 bikes - how about you come down and we'll see just how hard you like to ride?

Do you often refer to yourself in the third person?
Re: XY Wagon and a coupla bikes
as its essentialy the same block theres no real issues, Ive done this one a few times, the only time you have issues is with the later injected motors and they can be resolved quite easily

Yup, what flaps said Just bear in mind that technically you need a cat convertor, as you're supposed to meet the emmissions laws for the donor engine. I didnt install one, as I was planning to go LPG (cat not needed), not sure if it will be an issue come rego time, depends on how critical the inspection guy is

Re: XY Wagon and a coupla bikes
Just picked up a Felt Torch chopper style bike.
This is what a stocker looks like
How I picked up the bike. The guy I bought it off wanted the wheels and seat, I donated the rear guard and chainguard to his spares collection
And mocked up with some wheels and tyres
Thinking I'll paint the tank sides white (think a 2 tone Harley tank), not big on the flames. Ive ordered a seat post and faster, plus getting the broken spoke in the front wheel fixed at the moment. Looking at my options for forks/bars, dont like the current bars, but dont want to throw too much money at it
