Bobber inspired bike build

I just picked this up off ebay last week nice and cheap. Paint is gorgeous, orange with a fine gold flake.




Visually is the kind of direction I'll be taking it. Bigs and littles, apes, ditch the front guard and a bobbed rear guard (more bobbed than this bike though). Just a basic build but should be cool Pretty much all the parts are in my spares pile too, so nice and cheap too

I just watch ebay, after time you get a feel for whats gonna go for what. The bargains happen when people have a good brand but dont list the brand in their ad, have crap photos, or live more than 20 minutes from Bondi/Manly!

This is one Im watching at the moment which might be a good deal. I dont need another bike but Im tempted so I can display it at Real Fine Stuff. After that I'll poach the 3 speed wheel and then sell it

Now what the ad doesnt say is that its actually an Electra Rat Fink bike which is very cool, great quality, and relatively collectable to the right person, and just damn cool for a hot rodder to have in their shed. Paint is a stunning metallic green, and that rear wheel/tyre combo is actually a 24x3 (as opposed to a 26 inch wheel), but has the same overall diameter as a 26inch. The end result is one very fat piece of rubber! As you can see that shitfull ebay ad just does it no justice! My only concern would be potential rust on the chrome given the bike is located at Cronulla.

I'm diggin that Rat Fink bike man! Why can't this bike be in Brisbane!!!! Think I might have to start looking into getting me a sweet cruiser bike and getting somewhat 'fit'....

Yeah bikes are addictive ive got two on the go at the moment, not crusiers though, bmx's.
At least they are cheaper than cars. sometimes....
