Re: Tiki carving with Crazy Al
Sorry to hijak hew
I'm looking at havign a crack at doign a totom pole for the firestation (you know all about it hew) A few years ago I saw a device that fitted on a 4" angle grinder that you used for shapign and carvign timber, I asked at my local Bunnins on the weekend (god I hate shoping at bunnings but there is no local hardware shops any more) and the pimpley 14yo had know idea what Iwas talking about.
does any one know where I can get one and what there worth?

Yeh, ive got one of these on an angle grinder already. Ask me nicely and you can borrow it Yeti man
The other one that looks even better is the lancelot carving disc, which looks more akin to a chainsaw disc
Needless to say, both of these need to be treated with respect when youre using them!
Oh, one of my good mates works at Carbatec, they only sell quality wood working tools and wood, nothing else. If you ever want any wood working tools talk to me, my mate gets staff discount
