Hi Friends,
Last week I bought a DVD @ K-Mart Cannon Hill and it was about American rocker Buddy Holly calledThe Music of Buddy Holly and the Crickets the Definitive story which it's an 90 minute story that has interviews with Crickets members Jerry Allison, Joe B Mauldin and Sonny Curtis, Sonny West who wrote OH Boy and Rave On, peggy sue gerron(the woman behind the song and was Jerry Allison's first wife), Tommy Allsup who played with buddy on winter dance party as well as playing on It's so Easy and Heart Beat, Carl bunch who played drums on the winter dance party tour, george tomsco of the fireballs, garey and romana tollet who sang background on That'll be the day, John Pickering(the picks) who sang background on some of the buddy holly recording, ray rush(the roses) who sang background on some of the buddy holly songs, UK entertainer des o'connor who toured with Buddy on the 1958 UK tour and others and it also mentions the australian tour in 1958 as well as mentioning Johnny O'keefe. it also has 3 live clips of buddy and the crickets on the ed sullivan show and interviews and it's a great DVD with great stuff so I give it 5 stars. if you want to buy it BUY it and add to your collections.
