Been racing BMX ever since I was 3.5 and been doing road, cross country & veodrome since I was 15. Done a bunch of aussie & state titles, & missed the world titles I had a bad crash after I turned 18 & haven't been the same since.

i'd like to get a dirtbike next year.

That's cool, I raced motocross for twenty years but gave it away after our first daughter was born, i'd done what I wanted to do and it just felt like time, still get out ocasionally and cut a few laps but the whole environment of the sport has changed nowdays and its full of wannabe posers with no work ethic. They're more concerned with what stickers you've got on your bike than the actual racing, it's a shame cause it's a wonderful sport but the politics and the wankers that have hopped on the band wagon since it's become high profile have really soured the whole thing.

I've noticed that, I don't do motocross But I have seen how alot of the moto X guys act. Generally younger blokes tottooed from their chin down to their ankles thinking they're the ducks nuts. same deal with BMX too, lots of politics & dickheads wrecking what used to bee a real good thing. Also everyone is concerned about getting sponsored these days. I was sponsored at one point but I wish i never was.

My dad, who's now 55 used to race motor cross back in the day & did trials on the old montessa's & gas gas. had an old trumpy too.

i've seen it change shitloads in the past 15years,

I'm hearing ya bro I too was sponsored, but found it easier to just foot the bill and not listen to people telling you how much of a favour they were doing you while you promote their product. I still love it though, I just miss the old days.
