Rodeo looks pretty good Andrew, dig those Caddy taillights! And the filled tailgate. Nice work!

Ahahaha I half expect that rodeo to shift into a transformer Razz

Man that's a lot of work in that. I'm seriously impressed!

i thought you wrote that ute off andrew? i guess not.

ok so i didn't get past the 3 page cos everyones posts are really long. but so far everything i was going to say has been said...

as for cars i have a 71 superbug =D=D=D not a hot rod but it's the love of my life! it's in storage atm cos it needs a new motor. reading hewey's post about his beetle maybe i should invest in a laser or something to start off with instead?

i'm a little spastic when it comes to cars, i know the names, what they look like etc. i love going to car shows and the drags but when it comes to the technical/mechanical stuff i'm no good. when i start getting work done to the beetle then hopefully i'll learn more....

but first things first i need to get my license =p

FUEL INJECTED VOLKSWAGON MOTOR!!! BAHAHAH that's so cool!

Yeah Emily he did write it off and instead of bothering to fix it he sold it and then the guy who bought it brags he did all the customizations himself. Yeah right.

Yeah I need to work on getting my licence too. But I've been too poor for the lessons this year. $50 an hour! Ohh my instructor is terribly terribly good though. He's worth it. I'm hoping to start off next month.

The two lasers I was learning in are now gone and my mum's pulsar is so hard to drive. The clutch has very little space in which it engages and I haven't got my head around it yet. I need an empty road somewhere, without annoying ever present Kenmore drivers in their snooty BMWs.

Hey Drea, Why don't ya go for a drive down the new estate off rafting ground road. Not alot of cars run through there. Even Moons lanes a nice straight road with a nice turnaround circle at the end!!
Cheers The Zed.......................
PS. I think you should learn in a real car though lol!!!!

Ohh is that near Rafting ground Rd Park? Because then I'd sort of know where that is.

Well, the only old car accessable to has a Y block in it, so I can't even touch that until I'm off my P's, well over three years away! When we get the XM running yes ... but it's an Auto. Does hours driving an automatic count toward your 100hrs if you're going for a manual license? I always wondered about that. What I will be learning in soon is Matt's 1980 Hilux Ute which has column shift. So that will set me up quite nicely Very Happy

Drea, if you can learn to shift three on the tree, you can drive anything! It's easy as 1, 2, 3! Then you can drive any old car you want really, like a 51 twin spinner victoria, with FLATHEAD and three on the tree.... How cool would that be???!!!
