Re: Mud Flaps' Chev the long slooooow progress
Thanks Mick
I origianly never looked at anything other than 30's fords then I found what I could afoord by way of a 30's ford was rather rough so I looked urther afeild and found I loved the late 30's Chevs
the body was in storage in the roof of my parents shed (I figure I built the bugger 20 years ago so I might as well get some use out of it

Re: Mud Flaps' Chev the long slooooow progress
After the swap meet on Sunday it was time to get out in the shed.
I had a top little aprentice yesterday
at the end of the day, my great little helper was black from head to tow but we both had a ball so its all good

Re: Mud Flaps' Chev the long slooooow progress
I forgot I had a build thread here Ive been going through my other build thread for another project and found it quite insperational so here’s some pic’s form ages ago when I did the rocker panel keep in mind its only roughed in and has a lot of work to finish it off for paint,
Now remember guys if you cant say something nice, make sure I’m not with in ear shot
its on to the floor
heres what she was
So its all gone
In went the new cross braces
the the main sheet
This weekend I home ot finish cutting in the foot wells then I'm taking them to a local shop to have some swages rolled in them so they dont wop wop wop fit them then sort the seat height out and column etc so thats all good then ..........
