I am writing to say some more Buddy Holly news which is as next year being 50 years when buddy Holly was killed in the plane crash with Richie Valens and the big Bopper there is 2 new boxed CD sets that is coming out on january 28th 2009. the first is Memorial Collection an 3 CD set which has the famous hits like that'll be the day, peggy sue, oh boy, maybe baby, rave on etc and it concludes with selection of songs from the APartment tapes IN NEW YORK which he sings new songs and plays on the acoustic guitar just before the tragic crash aS WELL AS UNDUBBED RECORDINGS WITH BOB MONTGOMERY AND THE CRICKETS (bUDDY'S BACK-UP BAND). THE SECOND IS DOWN THE LINE RARITIES WHICH FEATURES PRE FAME HOME RECORDINGS, AN RECORDING WHEN BUDDY WAS 14, ALTERNATE & OUT TAKES VERSIONS OF THE FAMOUS SONGS,THE GARAGE RECORDINGS THAT HE DID IN 1956, BUDDY AND BOB RECORDINGS AND THE UNDUBBED APARTMENT RECORDINGS. iT SHALL BE GREAT TO HEAR THOSE RECORDINGS AND FOR THOSE BUDDY HOLLY FANS OUT THERE INCLUDING MYSELF IT'S GONNA BE GREAT AS IT'S ABOUT TIME THAT THERE IS BUDDY HOLLY BOX SET CD'S COMING OUT.
