yeah im making the trip.........its a about a ooh say 5 min drive from my front door, maybe 7 if there is lots of trafic and i get a red light!! HAHA cant wait for it, its my first year with the chev so should be lots of fun!! will hopefully catch up with you all there!!

Thats allright, if the cruise is anything like it was last year, your car wouldnt need to be going to enter in it, twas like a parking lot

FUTURE: We are discussing a variety of options for 2010 to 2015 including taking the festival to a different town each year. If your town would like to host a Wintersun Festival at some time in the future please contact us for more details. Our intention is always to give at least 12 months notice of any move - we will announce details of Wintersun 2010 in our official programme due out on May 18th. Sad

This will be our 16th year of going to wintersun my only reget is we missed the first 5 or 6
we always have a great time try to do something different each year
Man we've had a market stall ,we've been in the parade , I've been in a band, we've done the cruizing ,the drive Ins Brought a car one year wow all in we just have a ball every time we go

If the thought of getting your wheels from the Southern States to Wintersun has been daunting because of the distance, you are in for a big surprise.
The organisers of Australia's biggest Nostalgia Festival are heading to MILDURA for the weekend of 14, 15, 16 of August 2009 and who knows for 2010.
I am told already, the local Hot Rod Club is involved plus local businesses, the coucil and other interested parties.

MILDURA is at the cross roads of Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney with great roads coming from every direction, it has an airport, is geared up already for massive influxes of tourists, has an abundance of caravan parks, motels, hotels, restaurants, pubs, cafes, shops, wineries, golf courses, sports facilities, entertainement venues and othernumerous other entetainment amenities such as show grounds, a speed way, race race course, sports clubs etc.

It is also situated right on the mighty Murray and has some of the most perfect weather for most days of the year compared to most other areas in Australia.
With this being the first time ever that Wintersun is being taken on the road, the event is bound to attract a massive number of people and cars.
