32 roadster, car has quite a bit of history here in victoria. Was originally built in the late 70's/early eighties, would have one of the first Wescott bodies on it. 351 4v cleveland with lots of angry things in it, the motor actually came out of a 12second falcon..now detuned a bit but still wayyy more power than necessary Twisted Evil
Also has a phase IV winged sump, gt falcon nerds would probably want that. haha.

Looks sweet mate! Was there some rust in it? It looked tidy as before you did the work.

You keeping the steelies, or going back to the mags?

Oh, and we need some youtube love with the new engine! Laughing

Once again, sweet ride, and awesome pics as always! Very Happy

Only a few little spots on the corners of the doors which is common for HR's, it was mostly original paint but had bad repairs in the quarter panels, as well as the usual 'grandpa trying to park when he obviously has trouble seeing' dents etc. haha Very Happy
Yep hewey love the new rims, wasn't too sure what it would look like colour wise but i think the two colours work being similar shades..subtle but kickkassss hahaha Smile
Will work on vid soon, i actually got the exhaust system re done as it was ridiculously loud (even for me!)..its a lot easier on the ears but you can still hear me coming from two states away so its all goood Smile
everybody needs to run MSD 6al's on their cars, trust me Very Happy

getting booredd agaiinnn Sad haha
Waiting on some bullet leg nuts and some cool spun alloy push through bullets for the centre (if only they made spider caps to suit early holdens!). but toying around with wheel colour, what do you guys think of this??
I think with some chrome/polished alloy it will be a bit brighter..the colour is pretty light but comes out dark on the rim, especially against the green on the car.

The colour is 'light sherwood green metallic' acrylic. It was on special for $2 a can (that holts 'duplicolour') due to the colour being deleted so i went to every parts store within a 30 km distance and found 7 cans :d hahaha probably spent more on petrol than actually saving money! Very Happy

Still waiting on bullet lug nuts to arrive from the states (freakin postage cost more than the item them selves Evil or Very Mad ) but the wheels are done, i ended up painting them a brighter colour called 'tropicana green', which pops a bit more in the sunlight.
Welded up the patch panel i made for one of the doors on my 35 projecto pickup on friday so all pumped to get started on the other door Smile And waiting for kev's contribution in funding my front end. haha

Thanks guys! yep kat usedto have an aceholes logo on the side but decided to keep it plain for a while, might get signage again sometime but a bit more 'authentic'(rip out the one shot) Smile

Here's another car we used to have, we sold it around 2000, got shipped to the states, then a couple from germany bought it and took it home with them. I tracked the owner down a couple years later and we were in regular contact. Havent heard from them for a while now but was nice to know the Roadsters little adventures around the world!
Here is what is looked like when we had it:
Our Cars - Past and Present 3301
And this is it now!
Our Cars - Past and Present 3302
Our Cars - Past and Present 3303
They ended up having a minor prang with it which eventually turned into a minor rebuild, including converting it to LHD (its an aussie body), new 302 windsor and lots of little things like front ends (we had a dropped and drilled beam that bent in the accident so now has a tube). Ive got plenty of pics somewhere but cant find them!
The other 33 in the last pic was another car they purchased and rebuilt, it came from new zealand!
