We went to our first Kustom Nationals this year 2010. What a blast. Drove return trip from Brizzy in my 57 Chev, she really lapped it up. Will do it again prob 2012. We loved the laps of the Philip Island track, rockabilly music, carz and atmosphere and the surf was good to boot. I hope its a good one for all who are going.

Went to Kustom Nats this weekend just gone, once again an excellent event! Plenty of eye candy around, great tunes pumping in the background and the laid back atmosphere of everyone having a good time. I'll give you the hot tip though, don't do what I did and leave finding accommodation down there until the week before the event! The place is booked out solid. Anyway I'm not much one for words so I'll post some shots up from the weekend, hope you enjoy!
I haven't finished going through all my shots from the weekend, so when I get those up you will be able to find them here :http://www.haigstudios.com/Cars/Kustom-Nationals-2011/
Thanks, John

Great shots you have there Haig Studios. I've seen some of them on Flickr. Hell how did you get your Flickr pics on here? I've tried and failed.
Loved the whole event and next year will try and go for the whole weekend. Will be great once I have my own ride to take!

I've also sneakily spotted yours on there too, as you know. You can either insert them manually which takes a bit of time to do and you need to know how to write a little bit of BB code. An easier option and the one I use when I'm feeling lazy is http://quickrpickr.com/ which is fairly straight forward to use. Just enter your username and the number of photos you want it to display from your photostream and click 'display photos'. Then it is just a matter of ticking the boxes of the shots you want to display. Then hit the generate code button. Your going to want to select the code in the 'BB code' box, then paste it into the forum reply. Easy! Now get some of those photos of your up!

Thanks mate, well here goes...some of my shots from the Kustom nats.
Satin black & flames...a winning combination on a 1962 EK Holden.
Cool old 29 Ford rusty rat rod. This thing was like thunder when it was running! Straight exhausts with no mufflers!
I didn't know these two people at all, but my cousin knew them and introduced us all. They are both very cool and love the lifestyle that goes with Kustom Kulture. This is how those dedicated to the music, cars and lifestyle dress...all the time.
Hopefully I will see these two at another show soon.
It's the Aussie version of ZZtop's Cadzilla!
How cool is this? Sitting in the back seat of my cousin Stu's 57 Cadillac, cruising down pit lane. And then doing a couple of laps of the Phillip Island Grand Prix circuit. This track is also used for the motoGP and V8 Supercars. Sadly we could only do a 100kmh limit!
An "A" Model Ford done up as a shot to pieces cop car.
I absolutely loved this Lincoln!
The faded old skool style flames are a winner!
