Camperdown Cruise

Camperdown Cruise Rockabilly Festival 2010 is expected to feature over 400 cars for the revheads and a dozen rockabilly bands for music lovers this weekend. In addition, you can expect to see vintage clothing stalls, a fleamarket and street performers in abundance.

"Never did I dream that a little social gathering with my friends from Ballarat would turn into an annual festival which filled the streets of Camperdown," says Arthur Bruce, organiser, "It's fantastic fun, with the festival not only being about boys with their toys, although the boys will thoroughly enjoy the metal on view."

Bands include the Rockin' Daddies, Straight 8's, Itchy Fingers and Jump'n'Jive. There's also a special Ritchie Valens tribute show which is a must-see.
