Here you got Kate, just to show you one of the bags I made for Katrina, I'll try and take some photos soon of the other ones that are done already and the others that are nearly finished....

Sorry for the boring link but I'm a little computer illiterate and I don't have photobucket, and can't upload pics from work's computers (what a dumb idea!, clowns! clown )

Hey Zed
Believe it or not, apart from the hubcaps themselves, all the hardware comes from *cough* Bunnings *cough*.
I use a 'decorative' hinge (1 only) at the bottom, pop riveted on, bullet license plate bolts for feet, a 'case clip' for a clasp at the top and (I'm giving away all my secrets here) cupboard handles for, well, handles... I've actually swiped the idea from another fella, but he does his a bit differently, especially handle-wise and he lines the inside with foam and velour, I just line mine with felt, using spray n stick adhesive (I reckon the foam restricts what the girls can put into them, seriously decreases the space inside em) I've pinstriped a few, but the paint doesn't seem to stick real well, especially after polishing the caps with autosol..... But Katrina and the girls like em, so it gives me something to do, when and if I have spare time....

Hey Flathead, I got some nice Caddie caps that I think would look pretty Kool for those Ladies that need to carry plenty. I'll have to try to catch up so you can show me how to put them together.

Are they full size Caddy caps Zed?
I've found the easiest ones are the smaller 'centre caps' as a full size cap you'd have to somehow cover the clips, unless you remove them or something.... Maybe I should go back to the drawing board and have a think about that huh.....

The early '52's have a nice dish to them and you would have to remove the grippers and most caps from '52 onwards have a fairly similar dish. I got lots of early dog dish caps also.

Might have to see about that mate... May have to rip the caps off the 56.... maybe not, might get shot by the wife for that one, seeing as it's really hers! I've got some old Galaxie caps and stuff that might work as well..... Cheers for the idea!

Hey Kitty, I just sold my set of '56's. Maybe we'll come up with something using '63/'64's.

Well.... I do know the owner, sorta married to her... and I do most of the work on the car anyways.... although its not quite low enough to not miss the two off the rear.....
