Re: The HZ Project
Yeh that would be a sweet conversion.
im looking into the sleeving atm. I was gonna use the header wrap on the wiring not on the headers. The headers should be alot cooler than normal with the HPC on them anyway so i might see how it goes.
The wagon is coil rear so i might grind the inner arm brackets off and weld up the new ones myself. Now i just gotta get the diff.....

Re: The HZ Project
Thanks pinup65. Simple is sometimes the better option, and u cant get much simpler than a straight 6.
Ive scored a diff too lewey. vn, ss, lsd, 3.08 ratio. Il leave it disk rear end, and il just pull the residual valve out of the master cylinder.
I got the seats back and mounted the rears in.
Il pull it back out to do sumthing with all the alloy trimming round the edges. Ive just started playing with the loom, ive got a few alterations to make with the different dash cluster going in.

I will go out on a credability limb here and say I prefer the look of tripes on a 6 over most V8's

I'd agree. a tarted up V8 is always nice but i like my inlines.
Especially the larger capacity ones. Something about a 265 hemi with triple webbers that is just awesome
cheers

What do u guys think?

Re: The HZ Project
Hey guys havent been on here in a while. Had my head down and bum up trying to get my wagon registered for a wedding.
Took time off to get it done and spent the week replacing brand new faulty parts and ordering correct parts after the wrong ones were supplied.
The wedding was on saturday and the car was registered the afternoon before.
A big thank you to My Mum first and foremost. That woman can get anything done. Also for putting up with my frustrated attitude.
Stuart and the team at Autobarn South tweed and Pete and the gang out Alden Automotive for going to my house to fit minor stuff after i whent back to work to get it done in time.
Anyway moving on. Registered doesnt = Finished but heres some of my latest pics.
Bottom radiator hose fitting welded at 90 deg to miss the steering box.
Crossovers for the Hertz Space series speakers
The wagon and Dions UC torry. Dion took the grooms men and i took the brides maids
