Christina Aguilera - Burlesque

I'm looking forward to seeing Christina Aguilera's first movie - Burlesque. I just hope it's not going to be a turkey in the vein of Showgirls (everyone knows they took the wrong girl from Saved By The Bell for that movie - imagine if it had been Tiffani-Amber Thiessen in the Elizabeth Berkley role....)

Christina has a love for the pinup period and has toyed with the music from the era:



But apparently, it's Kristin Bell who steals the movie with some raunchy dance moves:



And even Cher - now in her sixties - still manages to look good as the proprietress:



It'll be interesting to see whether the movie works - Stanley Tucci is a very accomplished actor and it seems unlikely he would have gotten involved in something like this unless he felt his reputation was safe.
