Last Monday in the USA was the ROck'n'roll Hall of fame and the 5 indcutees were- UK 60's group the Hollies, ABBA, Genesis, reggae singer Jimmy Cliff and the stooges which had Iggy Pop as well as songwriters Cynthia Weil & Barry Mann who wrote You've Lost that Lovin Feelin, We've gotta get Out of this Place,On broadway etc,Jesse Stone who wrote Shake rattle and roll, mort Shuman who wrote Viva las vegas, Save the Last Dance for me,little Sister, sha la la la lee etc, Otis Blackwell who wrote DOn't Be cruel,return to sender,handy man and Great Balls Of Fire, jeff Barry, Elle Greenwich who wrote Do Wah Diddy Diddy, be My baby, Leader of the Pack and river deep mountain high and david geffen an record executive who founded Asylum Records in the 70's. Well done to the artist inducted.
