Thanks for the comments guys. Yeah im pretty happy with how the guards turned out. they are the third set that went in lol. The rims i initially built it for were going to cost about 2k more than the convos so had to change them. then went from 8 inch to 10 inch rims so changed them again lol. very happy now though.
Years ago they had a milk crate round up trying to find all the missing ones. the ones i have are the ones they didn't take for some reason. best tray stands i've found
The 2shitty3's were good in their day. pretty much a 202 with 2 extra cylinders though. performance wise it was nothing special. hopefully the 5 lt will wake the old girl up......... especially when the cam and chip package and the terra charger go on in the future......... but thats a story for another day......... and another bank account lol

Mate, that looks sweeeeet thats going to really pop against the paint too - great choice!
And to quote you from another thread:
To me your work on the tray, yeh thats pure art to me! More so because it has engineering in it, and it has to last outdoors and all that too!
Oh yeh, nice hardtail in the background too!

Re: My current headache!!
Well...... got the exhaust done and a wheel alignment and have been terrorizing the streets for the first time in 2 years!!. It handles like a go kart and goes like a cut cat :D Way more fun than i thought it will be.
Now only needs small things (bodywork, paint tidy up yada,yada...) hopefully i'll be cruisin around to some of the shows down here in Melb (wont be entering....not that good ) if you see me give me a wave and say g'day. Hard to miss a bright orange HQ coming down the road...... and you'll hear it before you see it (i love a V8 )
Now its time to get stuck into the old EK wagon
Cheers

Thanks Pete, yeah i am pretty proud. the only work done outside the garage was the exhaust and the wheel alignment. once the body work is complete and ready for pain i will get it done by a mate whos a spray painter. had enough shit in the paint just on the tray. wouldn't try and paint the whole thing here, would feel like sandpaper
Im glad Kats enjoying the music. was alot of good stuff on those discs.
Merry Christmas to you too. You may get to see the car one day. might cruise up in it for Garterbelts in march.
Cheers
Mick
