New member, Great Forum, pics of our Caddy
Hi everyone, we love anything Custom Kulture, a long time ago I used to own a 57 chevy and recently we bought a 1961 Cadillac, all stock with only 93,000 miles on the clock, so far we have done a mild custom at this time with custom smoothies (wheels) and I have customized the Grille and rear tail lights and over time it has sat low, but we plan to air bag it in the future and the engine is in for a rebuild in four weeks, we also fitted a freight train horn which is a lot of fun to set off.
We often cruise around the Gold Coast and surrounding areas on Friday and or Saturday night as we recently moved to Coomera QLD, if there are any others interested we are thinking of starting a cruising club that will do a very regular cruise around the The coast and possibly Brisbane, as we believe that these cars should be on the road, not locked away in the garage, so let me know, anyone with a classic cruiser american or not, let us know, and of coarse responsible driving is required as its a cruise not a race. Any interest email me at: bbsp@bigpond.com
Looking forward to catching up with others with the same interests soon. Please see pics of our Caddy attached if that did not work, you can paste in this link to your web browser: http://www.bookbinding.com.au/caddypics.html
Regards Milton & Levella

Hey Dave, yes it was us, not many of this particular model around, if I may say, the girl you were with looked great, I admire the girls (and guys) that dress up in this era, they look great, I just have to convince my misses to do the same, she is gettin there. Thanks for the comment and dropping off the brochure, at least you can say it works. If you ever want to come cruising with us your both more than welcome.
Regards Milton,
P.S. by the way how do you put your pic near your name in your profile, as it said you could only use links for pictures?

Hey Zed, Great EK, we would love you to join us, it is a very casual affair, not sure yet if it will be a club or not as I don't have time to do all the paper work, I would just rather it be a meeting of like minded people having fun showing off their cars as a group, we want it to be a very relaxed social time.
I used to be part of a cruisers club in the late 80's with my 57 chev and it was great, we drove a lot of places and had a great time, at one stage we had around 20 cars, it was great cruising around together.
Please email me at bbsp@bigpond.com and let me know your mobile number and email and I will let you know when the next night is.
Regards Milton.

Not sure if everyone will like this one as they say it is "All American Cars" It is with the Pontiac Car Club, I may go to this one and when I know the weather is Good we'll do a cruise either Saturday or Sunday night on our own.

Re: New member, Great Forum, pics of our Caddy
Ok, we will meet at the Mobil Service Station on the Gold Coast bound side of the M1 next door to Dream World you have to take the Coomera Exit to get to it. You will see our Caddy parked next to the Diner.
We will be there tomorrow (Thursday the 9th of April) from 6.00pm and leaving at 6.30pm so that we can meet up with other cruisers by 7.00pm at The Beenleigh Tavern, then they are cruising down to Harrigan's Irish Pub at Calypso Bay (Jacob's Well) and plan to have tea there.
Then I am thinking of either Saturday or Sunday this weekend (late afternoon, into the night) we can start our own cruise night for us.
The one we are going on tomorrow is run by the Pontiac Club and invites other American Cars too, but the cruise nights we will have here will be open to any cruisers, with a cool car, not just american.
So those that have yank tanks can join me tomorrow night and we'll see the rest of you guys later, I will text and email those who have given me their details and also put it on this web site.

Re: New member, Great Forum, pics of our Caddy
Well it will rain sometime today and for the next several, but last night it was near perfect, so we have decided to go cruising tonight, and for those that would prefer tomorrow (Sunday) we will cruise then as well, most likely meet for a Picnic lunch somewhere and cruise to a few locations around the coast through the afternoon.
If you would like to come please call me on 0438 876 467 and we can tell you whereabouts we will meet up with you.
I will post this email to others.
