I actually bought some cleaner from Kustoms a few years back, i'll try and remember the brand. But used it the other day as the ones going back on the royal were absolutely putrid and OMG I have never ever EVER used anything so effective, brown to brilliant white instantly

Are you going to get them in often Kat? I may look into widening the whites on the XM, always wanted fat wide whites on her, and the Caddy needs radial wide whites (the crossplys are rediculously dangerous when they grab a rut in the road at 100km/h!) but the cost of a proper set of radials is like $1400- $1600 a set! I could get a fair few sets or normal blackwall radials for that!
Ebony, how good is it?? Have you got any pics close up of the tyres? How hard is it to apply, did you use a brush of a spraygun??
Oh, and Kat, your handbag is complete and ready, I've just gotta find a way and time of catching up with you to get it to you, as postage would be rediculous, and I don't trust Australia Post to not damage it, regardless of how I pack it!

we used regect shop degreeser on a car at the CRAKK and they came up like new.

I'm intreaged to see how this paint system works though so if any one uses it let us know how you go

I WILL get the name of it I forgot to today! But is absolutely AMAZING. Its a spray bottle, you spray it on and hose it off and they went from brown to brilliant white. AMAZING i tellsya.
(i have brand spankies on the royal, i was lucky enough to get them with the car, and yup so damn expensive!

I tend to use Eagle One 'all wheel and tire cleaner', it's not too harsh on the whites, so long as you hose it off properly, which in my case with every car we have, means moving it about 4 bloody times coz the wheels are tucked up so hard under the guards! Ah, the price we pay for being different....

Do you still have any off this stuff left, how much is a kit?

does any one have any photos of it applied ?

Been painting my own wide whitewalls since the late 80's , mine often turn out looking no different from the real ones but without proper preperation or application even the best paint can look crap if its not done right. I either spray it or brush on my paint but normally i'll mask the tyre (unless a character line is present i can brush too) after removing raised lettering and the sticky sidewall is cleaned.
Theres a guy in Iceland who markets this paint having developed his own brand, do any of you use it.

I bought some of this a while ago, played around on an old spare and it looked pretty good. It's been out in the weather for a while and last time I checked it hadn't faded.

Are these white wall tyre kits still available?
