Re: Hellooo ;)
You loathe 2 doors?? Thats cool though, my father in law has a 51 twin spinner sedan, as does my brother in law (his used to belong to my father in law as well....) What are your plans for it?? Is it in pretty poor shape??
Re: Hellooo ;)
Yeah I dunno, EVERYONE wants a 2dr, I like to be different!
Very poor shape, lucky though main body straight, doors and guards really good. no floor, sills stuffed. Have floor pans already and a guy in bendigo is going to make the sills up for me. I need front bumper and a few little things. But is bare very bare shell as it sits at the moment, have anything removable in storage.
Not too sure about plans at the moment, have a lot of cars to get done before this one. But it'll either be completely rat feral with something decent in it, or if i can get my hands on some good parts etc I wouldn't mind doing a boot loading ambo/come hearse

Re: Hellooo ;)
No fear of any back seat monkeys here man. You can have some pretty good fun in back seats.... In my opinion, 2 doors are better, only cop cars and taxi cabs should come in 4 doors. Although in saying that, I was just checking out Bo Huff's latest work on his myspace page (for those of you who don't know him, he's a custom car builder in the U.S. of A, very talented and his son Junior is a very talented pinstriper and his daughter Maddy is right into the Kustom Kulture as well) it's a Mercury sled for Ol Skool Rodz magazine editor Geno, heavily chopped, custom grille, frenched lake pipes, ghost flames, pinstriped, dropped in the weeds etc etc...... and its a 4 DOOR....... best 4 door Merc sled I've ever seen to say the least! Might have to look into finding a 4 door Merc sled for myself.....!

Re: Hellooo ;)
Yep, that is definately the COOLEST 4 door Merc I've ever ever seen. I never thought chopping a 4 door could have the right rake and proportions like a 2 door Merc, but damn, that one is soooo nice! Hope it's running a flathead Add a set of flamethrowers and I wouldn't be able to walk away from that car.....
Re: Hellooo ;)
Hello Ebony! My internet is capped so I can't perve on your vehicles but I can do that next month right?
And what is with everyone bagging 4 doors? I've never fully understood why 2 doors are so desirable other than they seem to be worth more (which is turn is because they are more sought after, circle of confusion). 4 doors are good in that you can pop the kids in the back easily and take them to school, or is that why they are less desirable because they are a 'family' car. Someone explain this conspiracy theory to me. No has explained it yet without saying anything other than 'It's just cooler'

2 doors normally have a sleeker, sexier profile and a smoother roofline, and are always more sporty.
Think...... Oprah = 4 door...... Rihanna = 2 door......
I for one wouldnt jump into Oprah
Plus its just cooler
Cheers

Re: Hellooo ;)
Spot on MIck! The roofline is definitely one of the main reasons, and also to some extent, the 2 doors weren't 'family cars' as yes, it is more difficult to put the little ones in the back seat, unless they can hop in there themselves, which at the moment, Prudence can't do, so getting in either of the Falcon coupes or the Caddy is more difficult, but seeing as they're not daily drivers its not so hard to put up with.....!
Re: Hellooo ;)
I love the Snowcrest White and Cameo Beige EK sedan up the top. A nice stock looking car and one of my fave colour schemes.
There is a fairly complete but rusty twin spinner sitting in the Old Northern Wreckers in Sydney when I was down there a few months back.
Is the red AP1 royal the one that was on Ebay a few months back?
Cheers
Tim
