Rockabilly Puppets - Sallie Ford
Sallie Ford will never grow old - she's been immortalised in her new video as a puppet - by her father, a leading puppeteer - just click on the link below to see the result:

Being represented as a puppet is part of the symbolism for Sallie's song, "Cage." The song refers to an earlier time in her life when to earn a little money, she had to work in the service industry on low wages doing exactly as she was told - part of the new precarious economy faced by millions in industralised societies worldwide. "It's not my reality anymore," Sallie says, "It's nice to be able to say and do whatever you want."
It reminded me of an earlier rockabilly puppet, pioneered by the Pioneers of the Hot Rod Church for Sinners - great name, sign me up to that one! That's my kinda religion!
And could we ever forget The Foam Boys Quartet:
And let's not forget Hobie Hippo!!!!!!!
and of course, Elvis is alive and well and living in Germany !!
