NEW YORK CHEEEEEEEEEESECAKE
my dad made this..he is the cook of this household! he made it for my bday..everyone was like YUM
INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)
910 g cream cheese
150 g white sugar
2 eggs
5 ml vanilla extract
15 g cornstarch
230 g sour cream
125 g graham cracker crumbs
85 g melted butter
50 g white sugar

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C).
Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar together. Press mixture onto the bottom of one 9 or 10 inch springform pan. Place in freezer for 10 minutes.
Cream 3/4 cup of the sugar and cream cheese until smooth. Beat in eggs, vanilla, and cornstarch until just mixed. Stir in sour cream until blended. Pour into prepared crust.
Bake at 400 degrees F (205 degrees C) for 45 minutes. Turn oven off and leave cake in oven with the door ajar for 3 hours. Serve with your favorite topping.

i've had graeme crackers before, they're like sweet biscuits and i dont think i've ever had any australian varieties that tasted quite like them. they're like sweet and buttery but not too buttery, and kind of crumbly. lol if that makes any sense. you could probably buy them from those stores that import food from overseas.

Ummm no before we had kids I did 90% of the cooking in our house, the only reason I dont now is becasue I get home form work about the same time as we serve dinner
