Lady Luck 2011

Ive been asked by the event organizers to put a plug in for the 2011 Lady Luck Festival which is coming up on the 29th of January 2011. If its anything like the last one its gong to be a cracker!!!





The festival will be at the historic Carrington Hotel in the Blue Mountains.


By day there there will be a free event located in a massive marquee on the hotel grounds. With 3 fantastic bands- The Pat Capocci Combo, The Twilight Rhythm Boys as well as Danny and the Cosmic Tremors, there will be loads of tunes to help those that like to jump and jive on the floating dance floor.

Hot Rods, Rat Rods n Classic Cars will be on display and will be sure to have more than a few admirers. The Sydney Swing Katz will be performing a live show and providing dance lessons. The mobile Boogie Bop Dames hair salon is making an appearance for those who want to look the part, as well as other market stalls. A mobile bar will keep the adults refreshed and kid’s games and face painting are also planned for the day to keep everyone of all ages entertained.

By night the Lady Luck Festival will shine, with a ticketed Cocktail Party in the Grand Dining Room of the Carrington- and this is going to be huge! Canapés galore, 4 bands featuring Jordon and the Original Six, Wes Pudsey and the Sonic Aces, La Mancha Negra and to top it off Dirty Lindy. Radio personality Miss Death and MC Jay Katz will also be entertaining till the wee hours.

Its gonna Be HUGE!!!!!!

Great day! Thanks everyone who popped in and had a chat, or came up and said hello. Tony from Sterling HQ thought he'd do 5 cuts all day. I had been warning him for a long time that he'd do more than that! And I think for those who were there, he was cutting hair all day.

Thankyou everyone for your patronage, and thanks to everyone involved in putting on the event. This event has real opportunity to grow even more, and will certainly be on our list for next year.
