Sydney Rock'n'Roll Alternative Market

THE Sydney Rock’n'Roll and Alternative Market is back again this month.

However, it will feature a slight change to the market held in April.

Event spokeswoman Tiffany Palmer said it would include a new “fun thing”.

“The market started in August last year and it’s been pretty successful in its current form,” Ms Palmer said.

“But we’ve added punk rock karaoke as a bit of diversion.”

The market will be held at Tempe’s Jets Sports Club on Sunday, September 18.

It will feature stalls including vintage, Rock’n'roll, burlesque, ska, roller derby and alternative clothing among others.

There will also be performances from the Pat Capocci Combo, the Drey Rollan Band and DJs Limpin’ Jimmy and the Swingin’ Kitten.

Stalls will be open from 11am to 4.30pm and music will run from 11.45am to 5.30pm.
