Hi,
I'm new to this forum and thought some of you might be interested in my new Vintage Caravan Magazine as my dream is to make it full of lots of retro & kustom yumminess! At the moment we are only up to issue 2 (in most newsagents now) with issue 3 going to print this week.
Check out www.vintagecaravanmagazine.com.au for more info and to order single copies or subscribe and like our Facebook page.
Also if you have a vintage/ retro/ kustom related business or event coming up and would like to advertise in the magazine please contact us as we're offering some pretty sweet deals for those kinds of businesses we'd like to support most... the cool ones!
Most weekends you'll find me hooking up the van (an aluminium 1965 Viscount with hot pink stripe) and hitting the road off to another car show or caravan rally so if you see me about make sure you come and say hi.

Very Happy

I'm keen to add new features to my camper with extra compartments that slide out like winnebago's have , i reckon i can double the length of my camper when its setup on site using this method.

You've seen my place, nowhere to store it. Plus I dont like the idea of it behind the EK with drums and a grey motor! Shocked

I pull mine with a Cresta 2.6 but then I've got disc brakes on the front ... and I must admit I'm not too keen on taking it up the Bunya mountains to Maidenwell this weekend for the hot rod roundup. As much as I'd love the cruise in it normally, I think the extra load of the caravan might be asking too much of her... my mechanic says I should put a V8 in her Wink

V8 Vauxhall sounds like a good plan!

Have you seen the ads for that new TV show the designers (?) with Jamie Durey? Looks like one of the projects they tackle is an old caravan make over - looks interesting!
