Petition against changes to Modified Vehicle laws in NSW
The NSW RTA is proposing changes to the current registration system for modified vehicles. These changes will mean that the majority of modified vehicles will be classified as individually constructed and will have to comply with the ADR's current on the day that it goes for registration. Please follow the link below and sign the petition to assist us in taking the fight to the NSW Transport Minister.

Won't make any difference to me, everything i've built is individually constructed, besides one day they'll get there way and ban everything 10yrs or older.

Individually constructed cars won't spell the demise to creativity or individualism, sure it's another kick in the ass for the purists but its like all regulation as it changes we evolve with it.
I have a unfinished 60's style channeled 5w here, ideally i'd love ta get it on the road as a trad hotrod with its stock 56 olds V8 and hydro transmission but if regulation comes in stateing current ADRs i can work to that. With its 3piece hood in place nobody will know that it runs a modern driveline and only the exhaust note will be a dead giveaway, the fact it is a ford on a chev chassis is also no concern to me.
