Apart from the organised events such as Rockabilly bop, bands etc, is there anywhere you can go to listen to cool tunes, have a drink and generally just hang out in Brisbane/Gold Coast?

I'm a sydneysider, but I'm told Alibi Room in the Valley is a great venue?

theres a few things you really need to go with that, a grinder a welder and a GOOD stereo O and a few mates droping round form time to time makes it all fun
