Post by lukerock on Sun Apr 05, 2009 8:26 am

Hi Friends,
I am writing to say that yesterday Wanda JAckson was inducted into the rock'n'roll hall of fame and the presenter for wanda was Roseanne Cash (US country singer and Johnny cash's daughter). wanda in her speech thanked her parents, Elvis Presley who encouraged Wanda to sing rockabilly, capitol records Producer Ken Nelson, ELvis Costello & Bruce Springsteen for taking her cause to get into the rock'n'roll hall of fame, her husband, her 2 children & grandchildren & documentary makers for the doc on her and sang Mean Mean Man and her famous hit from 1960 "let's Have A PArty". i am very glad along with many other Wanda JAckson fans that she has made it into the rock'n'roll Hall of Fame which she truly deserves it for the impact she's done for rock'n'roll and Great to see her there with the true legends like Elvis, bill haley, Buddy Holly, the everly Brothers. johnny Cash etc.
Rock On, Keep ROckin and LET"S HAVE A PARTY.
