Is this show in Brizzie? I'm assuming it is a different "Lava Lounge" or is it the one in Sydney? ??

Hey Kat! Finally made it to Thunderbird Park on the weekend! But I didn't trust mum to get us there on horse back again (last time she got us lost on Mt Tamborine) so we drove there instead Very Happy The food was good, a little pricey but it's not the kind of place you'd eat at every weekend so it's aiiiight.. Mum and I are gonna go back in a few weeks and do the mining Very Happy I wants me a thunder egg!

I'm definately coming to G-BAG this year - especially if Marcus is gonna do his tiki thang Razz

Also I think what Lolly was saying is there is a portable tiki bar company in Sydney called 'The Lava Lounge' Smile

Oh and question - does the art need to be specifically influenced by tiki or can it just be lowbrow in general?

I WILL be coming this year! The only reason why I didnt come last year is because I thought it was like HOURS away from where I lived but after passing it to get to Thunderbird Park it's only about 40mins so thats doable..

Haha yeah last time mum and I parked the horse float at the bottom of Mt Tamborine and we were planning to ride up it to get to Thunderbird Park... we never got there Razz

I'm retarded.
I didn't even think to get the entry form first or look at the details closer.
I just spent hours and hours and hours and hours doing a pastel piece, when you're meant to do a painting, pin striping or sculpture.

Baaahh I'm such an idiot. Do you think I could get in on the grounds of it being a 'pastel painting'? They do call it that o.o
