Scarlet Tinkerbelle - Miss Pinup Australia Competition

Post by andrew666 on Thu Sep 08, 2011 5:32 am

Alicia Taylor's life changed forever when a friend first introduced her to rockabilly and swing. Suddenly, the demure office worker who wouldn't say 'boo' to a goose was transformed overnight into a raven-haired predator who caused traffic hazards as young male drivers recklessly turned their heads having spotted her walking across the street

The 26-year-old Alicia Taylor became Scarlet Tinkabelle - her pin-up alter ego - dominating the covers of ink girl maagzines and now a hot contestant in the state finals of the Miss Pin-up Australia competition.

Scarlet, as Alicia finds herself constantly and worryingly referring to herself, will compete in the Miss Illustrated category, which is dedicated to women who have "permanent pieces of art work."

Alicia's bodyart is simply breathtaking and includes the Japanese kanji symbols for Peace, Love and Happiness as well as intricate images related to strong women and family members. "Having tattoos is a way of baring your soul to the nation," as Lili DeVere once said.

The state finals for Miss Pinup Australia will be at Tweed Heads on October 29.

"Simply Breathtaking" I think sums up the beautiful lass completely, not just the ink!
