CD Launch for Sonyta & Incinerators - Aug 27th

Show some support for an up-and-coming Victorian band - Sonyta & Incinerators! Sonyta's CD launch, which has a Kontiki fancy-dress theme, will be at Christine's at Lucky 13 Garage at 8 Cochrans Road, Moorabbin, on August 27, 7.30pm.

Sonyta Trahar is a 16-year-old rockabilly singer-songwriter and rhythm guitarist from Hampton Park. She's still studying for exams and has to blend her career and education in a whirlwind of activity.

Her band has played at John's Rod and Kustom Rumbles in Berwick and this month they launch their first CD "It's been great getting to know people who love what you do," Sonyta says, "All the boys are very understanding and stopped our rehearsals while I had exams. I'd still learn the songs as I did my homework - I just blast them on my laptop."
